Job :

As part of the launch of the new BRICOMA purchasing center, we are recruiting several International Buyers.

Your missions will be:

  • To ensure continuous competitive monitoring to validate supplier choices and diversify product offerings according to market needs and demand;
  • To prospect for international suppliers to find the best quality-price ratio;
  • To monitor sales trends to optimize and update the product range;
  • To manage the portfolio of existing local and foreign suppliers;
  • To negotiate with suppliers to improve the offer; obtain better quality/price ratios, good quantities, benefit from optimal delivery times, and good import conditions;
  • To ensure compliance with Moroccan standards for imported products;
  • To prepare orders, request proforma invoices, validate them with the sales director before sending them to the import department;
  • To support the import department in tracking orders and following up with suppliers until reception;
  • To ensure supplier loyalty by staying in touch with them to build a relationship of trust.
     

Required profile :

Training and experience:

  • Higher education: Master's degree (Bac + 5) in Purchasing / Procurement / Logistics Management.
  • First confirmed experience of at least 3 years in import purchasing management.

Required skills and qualities:

  • Mastery of English, written and spoken.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials is a strong asset;
  • Good interpersonal skills with clients and suppliers;
  • Initiative;
  • Rigor;
  • Tenacity and perseverance;
  • Persuasion and conviction skills;
  • Good negotiator;
  • Legal knowledge of contracts;
  • Knowledge of the regulations of suppliers' countries.
