We are looking for a dynamic, competent, and highly professional Pharmacy Agent Responsible for Consignments of Implantable Medical Devices (Deposits) (M/F) to join the Pharmacy Department at UIR Hospital. He/She will ensure the operational management of implantable medical device deposits, from needs assessment to reception, storage, supply of services, management of returns, and documentary traceability. He/She will ensure the availability of implantable medical devices, the compliance of stock movements, adherence to establishment procedures, as well as hygiene, safety, and quality requirements.
Your main responsibilities will focus on the following areas:
Assess needs for implantable medical devices held in deposit, validate and track requests for permanent and temporary deposits, and establish deposit requests for new products upon medical prescription after agreement from the responsible pharmacist.
Verify the reception of products for deposit in accordance with the established request, check the delivery in terms of quantity and quality, particularly expiry dates, batch, and serial numbers, and ensure the entry of deposit slips into the hospital information system.
Ensure the storage of products placed in deposit by specialty and in compliance with the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principle. Ensure the supply of products in deposit based on requests sent by user departments and organize their delivery to the concerned department against acknowledgment of receipt.
Manage temporary deposits used during missions, including requesting temporary deposits, reception, stock entry, supply, consumption, return, and, if necessary, return to the supplier.
Manage non-sterile products in deposit, including ordering, reception, transfer to the sterilization department, follow-up with that department, invoicing, and return to the supplier if necessary.
Participate in the organization and execution of annual and cyclical inventories of the deposit unit, participate in inventories managed by the Pharmacy Directorate, and schedule inventories requested by suppliers.
Manage products nearing expiration, organize their monitoring, and ensure the return of products or items in deposit when necessary.
Inform suppliers of products nearing expiration within the stipulated deadlines.
Ensure the cleanliness of the deposit unit, proper storage of products in designated areas, and the safety of pharmaceutical products as well as the unit's personnel.
Adhere to hospital procedures, participate in the implementation of the quality system, ensure its application and improvement, report any anomalies occurring in the course of the activity, and ensure the filing and archiving of the deposit unit's documents.
Contribute to monitoring the performance indicators defined by the Pharmacy Directorate.
Required profile :
Hold a diploma as a pharmacy technician or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in the logistics management of health products, ideally implantable medical devices in deposit.
Experience in hospital pharmacy, stock management, traceability, or the process of implantable medical devices is a significant asset.
Knowledge of quality requirements, monitoring of expirations, management of returns, and relationships with suppliers is desired.
Proficiency in the hospital information system and strict adherence to quality, hygiene, and safety requirements are also essential.
Demonstrate rigor, vigilance, organization, and professional discretion.
