Aya is the only pure silver mining company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. It operates the high-grade Zgounder silver mine and explores its land holdings along the highly prospective South Atlas Front, several of which host old producing mines and historical resources. In addition to its Moroccan mining assets, Aya also owns the Tijirit gold project in Mauritania, which is advancing to the feasibility study stage.

As part of its expansion, AYA Gold & Silver is looking to strengthen its teams with skills in various trades, particularly maintenance.

Job :

Main responsibilities:
Supervise compliance with the company's operational standards and procedures.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for HSE.
Raise employee awareness about the importance of their safety and health at work, as well as the risks inherent in their jobs.
Advise and support operational staff in implementing preventive and corrective measures.
Plan and conduct internal safety audits, as well as inspections on construction sites and in production units, producing reports with recommendations for improvement.
Daily identify infractions, non-conformities, and risks to staff health and safety, and inform the managers of the relevant departments and the QSE department.
Participate in the organization of construction sites and workstations, ensuring their compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Verify that regulatory checks (electrical installations, fire-fighting equipment, etc.) are carried out.
Contribute to the development of work permits and verify compliance with their requirements.
Participate in investigations, inquiries, and analyses of incidents (work accidents, medical care, environmental incidents) to determine causes and define action plans.
Ensure the holding of monthly meetings of the Departmental Safety Committee (SCS), the distribution of minutes, and the follow-up of corrective actions.
Monitor and analyze HSE statistical data and contribute to the identification of corrective and preventive measures.
Plan and deliver internal HSE training.
Perform HSE reporting.
Maintain and improve the company's QSE policy.
Advise and assist management to ensure legal and regulatory compliance in HSE matters.
Advise and assist operational staff in the prevention of workplace accidents.
Continuously improve the company's HSE culture.

Required profile :

Profile sought:
Hold a Bac+2 or Bachelor's degree in HSE with 2 years of experience
Analysis of occupational risks in workstations / Environmental analysis
Investigation and analysis of undesirable events.
HSE regulations
Proficiency in computer tools: Excel, PPT, Word.
Reporting.
Facilitating training sessions and meetings.
Dynamism and responsiveness
