Senior Architect - Sports Infrastructure Projects

MDK Engineering Consultants is looking for a Senior Architect to lead the design, development, production, and execution of architectural plans for sports infrastructure projects.

Main responsibilities:

* Lead the design, preparation, development, and execution of architectural plans.
* Develop architectural concepts into detailed plans and execution documents.
* Lead the design of stadiums, training centers, clubs, sports complexes, and associated facilities.
* Supervise and control the quality of plans, details, specifications, and technical documents.
* Provide architectural solutions suited to the functional, technical, and operational requirements of the projects.
* Lead coordination with structural, MEP, fire safety, infrastructure, landscape, security, and ICT disciplines.
* Verify the compliance of sports areas, zones for athletes, spectators, VIPs, media, and operational services.
* Lead coordination meetings and design workshops with the client, consultants, and contractors.
* Supervise site work, address technical issues, and ensure closure of observations.
* Ensure compliance with FIFA requirements, Saudi Building Code, and norms of competent authorities.
* Mentor the architecture team and ensure quality and timely delivery.

Required profile :

Profile sought:

* Degree in architecture from a recognized university.
* Professional experience of at least 15 years.
* Proven experience in projects involving stadiums, training centers, clubs, or sports complexes.
* Strong experience in applying FIFA requirements and guidelines.
* Excellent command of architectural design and production of execution plans.
* Advanced knowledge of sports fields: orientation, turf, drainage, irrigation, lighting, and safety zones.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with good experience in BIM processes.
* Good level of English.
* Excellent leadership, technical coordination, and problem-solving skills.
