Job :

As part of this role, your main tasks will be the following:

• Design and development of 3D models for sheet metal, plastic, or molded parts, both in the creation and development phase.
• Creation and updating of 2D drawings (assembly or sub-assembly parts), in accordance with ISO dimensioning standards and industry-specific rules (sheet metal, plastic, or molding).
• Verification of assemblies and clearances through tolerance stack-up calculations.
• Monitoring of workload while respecting quality processes and commitments.
• Convergence on robust technical solutions and continuous improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams during zone meetings and HH reviews.
• Feasibility study up to the RO (Release Order) phase for mechanical components.
• Official validation and documentation in PLM tools such as 3DCOM.
• Analysis of supplier feedback (2D and 3D) to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Writing progress reports for all assigned activities.
• Ensuring knowledge capitalization for the entire scope of work.

Required profile :

Profile:

• Holder of a Bachelor's degree or Engineering Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
•  
• Good understanding of the Automotive industry and proven knowledge of automotive parts;
• Proficiency in CAD tools CATIA (3D and 2D), Siemens NX

Experience: Entry-level

Have proven experience in the design of interior or exterior automotive parts and plastic molding

Skills:

• Fluent English;
• Knowledge and skills with PLM/Catia/Enovia systems, or alternatively TCAE/Unigraphics/Teamcenter. 3D / 2D component modeling;
• Knowledge of design and manufacturing criteria for injection-molded plastic components: molding axis, draft angles, parting line management, undercut and/or slide management; Feasibility studies -
• Knowledge of the ASME dimensioning system;
• Additionally, it would be beneficial if the candidate also has experience:
• in the automotive sector, particularly in the design of interior vehicle components;
• welding of plastic components;
