Created in 2003, under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Horses (SOREC) has as its main missions the supervision of breeding, the development of horse racing and the management of horse racing games in Morocco.
By virtue of its mission, SOREC ensures the supervision of racing companies, supports breeding programs as a partner of breeders' associations and ensures the improvement of national equestrian infrastructure.
In addition, SOREC is committed to a policy aimed at improving the competitiveness of Moroccan breeding and revitalizing the horse market.
SOREC covers the entire country with 5 stud farms, 43 covering stations and 11 equine breeding promotion centers, in addition to numerous collaborations with the main equine associations in the kingdom.

Reporting to the Head of the Regulation Department, your main mission will be to actively participate in the implementation of racing regulations by ensuring effective coordination of legal bodies to guarantee their efficient application.
As such, your key activities will be:
Coordination of Racing Jurisdictional Bodies
-Prepare SOREC stewards' meetings
-Manage the administrative office of SOREC's jurisdictional service
-Manage the archives of jurisdictional bodies
-Organize and archive the administrative files of race stewards
-Act as an interface with foreign jockeys' clubs on matters related to racing regulations and licensing
Regulatory Monitoring and Application
-Ensure regulatory and jurisprudential monitoring
-Ensure the application of horse racing regulations and their optimal organization at racecourses
-Monitor and control the drafting of race minutes and validate race data in the MOHR information system
-Follow up and implement procedures related to races
-Control the deployment of the jurisdictional system (race stewards) on a post-by-post basis
-Prepare notification bulletins in collaboration with the head of the Licensing and Regulation Department
-Interpret and analyze the jurisdictional racing regulations at racecourses and produce semi-annual reports with figures on infringements, in order to make recommendations on sanctions requiring reinforcement, relaxation or maintenance
Jurisdictional Consulting
-Provide advice to professionals on matters related to horse racing regulations
-Participate in information and awareness campaigns for professionals on racing regulatory provisions
As a potential candidate:
- You have a BAC+3/4 (Bachelor's/Master's degree) in law or equivalent with proven experience, ideally in legal coordination;
- You have a good knowledge of current regulations and ensure their correct application;
- You are able to conduct international benchmarks and manage legal documents and archives;
- You communicate effectively with your contacts and know how to negotiate with diplomacy;
- You analyze situations and solve problems proactively;
