Digital technology and new technologies are all around us, but their code and language are not always natural and innate for everyone. The gap between those who speak "digital" and handle it with ease, and others, is often very large. That's why YouCode, a new school in Safi, wants to put code into everyone's hands to reduce digital inequalities and give everyone a chance.

Primarily aimed at young people aged 18 to 35, the training courses offered by YouCode are free, professional, intensive, and require no technical prerequisites or diplomas. They are for everyone and exclude no one. So, no need to be a geek or particularly gifted in computing to benefit from them: a good dose of motivation is enough!

Job :

I- Job Mission:

The mission of the Communication and Integration Officer will be to follow a cohort trained in Web Development, to lead workshops related to professional integration, to ensure prospecting with local, regional, and national companies, to organize events with companies and professionals, to assist at regional events, to coordinate with the project director, to ensure communication around the project, and to ensure the necessary reporting for successful outcomes.

II- Context:

As part of the establishment of YouCode Safi, the role of the Communication and Integration Officer is very important in the post-training phase. Managing relationships with stakeholders, especially companies, is a crucial phase for the success of the training. The work environment is structured as follows:

           1- External Environment :

• Knowledge of the business environment, IT service companies: Needs for profiles, IT projects;
• Knowledge of the IT sector: Training centers and institutions, government services, professional associations, recruitment agencies, specialized agencies, etc.

           2. Internal Environment :

• In-depth knowledge of profiles in training;
• Knowledge of the training content provided: substance, strengths, potential of trainees;

III- Responsibilities : 

• Develop partnerships with companies and specialized centers: internship agreements, apprenticeship contracts, employment contracts, etc.;
• Ensure institutional communication around the project;
• Organize and lead professional integration workshops;
• Support learners from the beginning to the end of the training to optimize their return to employment and other positive outcomes (follow-up, monthly individual interviews, coaching, ...)
• Hold regular meetings with the cohort;
• Prevent dropouts (check absences, lateness, etc.);
• Help synchronize with other Simplon branches;
• Distribute Simplon surveys to learners;
• Organize events with companies and professionals;
• Attend regional events, participate in ongoing projects;
• Monitor / implement administrative reporting on placements;
• Relay feedback (satisfaction/dissatisfaction) from host companies;
• Alert management to critical situations (post-training) during internships;
• Relay needs expressed by companies and participate in calibrating the training;
• Relay and share feedback (satisfaction/dissatisfaction) expressed by host companies with management;
• Significantly contribute to the continuous improvement of training;

• Engagement and motivation of young people in training or undergoing training for existing job/internship offers;
• Constant monitoring of young trainees' profiles (situation, attitude in class, adaptation, integration, group dynamics) for placement;

      2- Critical Situations to Anticipate : 

• Crisis situations, anxiety among young people during training or job search (post-training);
• Crisis situations, conflicts between young people/recruiters during internships;

     3- Risk :

• Disruption of activities during internships or post-training phases;

• Positive placement rate for young people;
• Number of partner companies (Number of successful partnerships);
• Quality of internships offered and high-value partnerships;

VI- Specifics : 

• Reporting to the Director of YouCode Safi;
• Fixed-term contract;
• Position based in Safi;
• Frequent travel at regional and national level;
• Driving license B;

Required profile :

       1. Profile:

• Strong interest and motivation for the position;
• Understanding of the integration challenges for young people who are dropping out or long-term unemployed;

       2. Technical Skills (Professional):

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the aforementioned field;
• Excellent written French skills;
• Knowledge of IT and web development (desired);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;

       3. Managerial and Behavioral Skills

• Experience in leading training workshops (interpersonal skills);
• Ability to develop a strong network of partners;
• Proficiency in public communication (Arabic and French);
• Results-oriented management sense;
