The main goal of this position is to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of our import processes. This involves guaranteeing the timely reception of goods while respecting customs regulations and the company's quality standards. You will work closely with various internal departments and contribute to the optimization of costs and logistics. Your expertise will be essential for managing relationships with foreign suppliers and maintaining a high level of performance within the team.

As an Import Officer M/F, your responsibilities will be varied and stimulating.

  • You will be responsible for managing complete import operations, from order placement to the reception of goods.
  • You will manage relationships with international suppliers and carriers.
  • You will ensure the compliance of import documents with customs regulations.
  • You will monitor and optimize import-related costs.
  • You will collaborate with various internal departments to ensure effective coordination.
  • You will be involved in resolving import-related issues.

You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our import processes by proposing innovative solutions and participating in the implementation of new strategies.


Required profile :

To succeed in this role, a Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) is required. A specialization in Sales / Export or Distribution would be a major asset but is not mandatory. We are primarily looking for a motivated, rigorous individual with strong potential.

Professional experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar role is desired. However, candidates with significant experience in a related field and demonstrating transferable skills will also be considered. Experience in import management, logistics, or international trade will be a significant advantage. We favor candidates who have shown autonomy and initiative in their previous roles.

Proficiency in computer tools and management software is essential. Excellent knowledge of French is required. Knowledge of customs regulations and import procedures is essential.
