Chief Accountant - Casablanca

• Supervise general, cost, supplier, customer, and fixed asset accounting.
• Ensure monthly and yearly account closing.
• Guarantee tax compliance (VAT, Corporate Tax, Income Tax, etc.) and the accuracy of financial statements.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and financial reports for management.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and tax firms.
• Implement and optimize internal accounting and financial control procedures.
• Lead and manage an accounting team (organization, skill development, performance tracking).
• Participate in cross-functional company projects (digitalization, automation, ERP implementation, etc.).

Required profile :

• Education: Bachelor's degree (Bac+4) in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role, must have experience in distribution and/or trading environments.
• Skills required:
• Strong knowledge of industrial and cost accounting.
• Proficiency in Moroccan tax law.
• Proficiency in computer tools (Advanced Excel, ERP systems, etc.).
• Personal qualities:
• Leadership, accuracy, organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
