Job :
Management of estimating
• Develop the provisional budgets for projects (CAPEX).
• Break down costs by technical and functional lots.
• Carry out comparative estimates (concepts, formats, variants).
• Ensure cost consistency with operational needs.
Management of the department
• Define cost methods, tools, and references.
• Plan project workloads and priorities.
• Develop the team's skills.
Financial analysis & decision making
• Analyze project profitability (ROI, payback, TCO) in collaboration with the finance and management control team.
• Identify cost optimization levers.
• Propose alternative scenarios as needed.
Cross-functional coordination
• Construction management (validation and feasibility of estimates).
• Finance and management control department (project profitability study).
• Logistics/BU/Merchandising department (validation of specifications for estimating).
Capitalization & continuous improvement
• Update cost databases by format.
• Capitalize on project feedback.
• Ensure market watch (costs, technologies, materials).
• Standardize models by store type.
Required profile :
• Master's degree (Bac +5): Engineering, Master's in project management, economics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in estimating, cost control, or cost assessment.
• Essential experience in mass distribution, logistics, or supply chain (highly appreciated).
• Expertise in multi-format CAPEX estimating.
• Excellent command of Excel and modeling tools.
