Job :

The Mechanical Team Leader is responsible for preventive and curative mechanical maintenance activities to improve the availability and reliability of the facilities in their area, in accordance with defined objectives and under the required health and safety conditions.

  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental rules and instructions within their team and area of intervention
  • Initiate, organize, distribute, and supervise mechanical maintenance, overhaul, or repair work on production equipment, in accordance with given instructions and maintenance procedures
  • Organize and optimize the human and material resources needed to carry out maintenance work within the allocated deadlines
  • Ensure good coordination with planners, visitors, the lubrication supervisor, and production teams to guarantee operational continuity
  • Participate in identifying material needs for maintenance and contribute to spare parts inventory management
  • Implement corrective and preventive action plans to address malfunctions and breakdowns encountered on equipment
  • Participate in analyzing equipment malfunctions (root causes, lessons learned) and propose technical improvements
  • Provide regular reporting on their activity (MTTR, MTBF indicators) to supply necessary information for hierarchical decision-making
  • Perform acceptance and quality control of work carried out by subcontractors

Required profile :

DUT / BTS / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

5 years of experience in heavy industry

Knowledge of industrial equipment mechanics;

Knowledge of preventive maintenance basics; Lubrication and hydraulics;

Knowledge of materials science; Mechanical manufacturing.

Languages: Fluent in Arabic and French. English desirable

  • Stress management: ability to maintain team performance in emergency or unplanned shutdown situations
