Your role will be essential in the smooth running of service, ensuring that each client feels welcomed and served with the utmost attention. You will actively participate in customer satisfaction by guaranteeing quality service throughout their meal.

As a Commis de rang, your responsibilities will include various tasks aimed at supporting the dining room team and optimizing service:

  • Setting up tables before service.
  • Cleaning and clearing tables after guests leave.
  • Tidying and cleaning the dining room and its adjacent areas.
  • Stocking materials (glasses, cutlery, napkins).
  • Assisting the chefs de rang during service.
  • Welcoming and seating guests.
  • Taking simple orders and relaying them to the kitchen.
  • Serving drinks and dishes according to instructions.
  • General maintenance of silverware and tableware.

Required profile :

A high school diploma (Bac) level is required for this position. A qualification or diploma in Hotel/Restaurant trades would be a considerable asset for success in your duties.

Previous professional experience of 1 to 3 years in similar roles is expected. This period will have allowed you to develop a good understanding of customer expectations and the demands of restaurant service.
