Within a BCCM and operational resilience team, the Junior Consultant assists senior consultants and project managers in consulting missions, maturity assessments, compliance, business continuity, and operational resilience.He/She contributes to information gathering, gap analysis, deliverable preparation, action plan follow-up, and documentation of continuity, crisis, and business recovery plans.
Main activities
• Participate in cyber maturity, BCCM, and operational resilience assessment missions.• Contribute to compliance and gap analyses against ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 27005, NIST, or equivalent frameworks.• Collect, organize, and verify documentary evidence related to security controls, business continuity, crisis management, and incident recovery.• Participate in the analysis of cyber and operational risks under the supervision of a senior consultant.• Contribute to the preparation of deliverables: gap analysis, maturity scorecards, tracking sheets, remediation plans, meeting minutes, and presentation materials.• Monitor the progress of action plans and follow up with stakeholders on expected items.• Participate in the documentation or updating of BCP, DRP, crisis management, IT continuity, and operational resilience procedures.• Prepare simple summaries and regular reports for project teams.• Contribute to the preparation of workshops, interviews, questionnaires, and assessment campaigns.• Participate in monitoring GRC best practices, business continuity, cybersecurity, and operational resilience.
Required profile :
Master's degree (Bac+5) in cybersecurity, IT, telecommunications, IS governance, risk management, audit, business continuity management, or equivalent.
Desired experience: 2 to 3 years, with a first experience preferred, internship or work-study in GRC, cybersecurity, IT audit, compliance, BCM/BCCM, risk management, or operational resilience.
Required technical skills
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance, risk management, and compliance.• Basic knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 27005, and ISO 22301 frameworks.• Understanding of business continuity concepts, DR/BCP, crisis management, operational resilience, and remediation plans.• Ability to collect, structure, and analyze documentary information.• Ability to produce clear materials: tracking sheets, summaries, meeting minutes, PowerPoint presentations.• Good command of Excel, PowerPoint, and collaborative tools.• Initial exposure to a GRC tool, an ISO audit, or a cyber maturity assessment would be a plus.
Optional skills
• Awareness or certification in ISO 27001 Foundation, ISO 22301 Foundation, EBIOS RM Foundation, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent.• Basic knowledge of IT environments, networks, cloud, backup, IAM, operational security, or incident management.• Experience in an international or multicultural environment is desirable.
