Job :

In this role, you will be responsible for developing short, medium, and long-term sales forecasts, by combining statistical analysis, market knowledge, and close collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams. You will ensure the quality of the Demand Planning process and its translation into a validated demand plan, in both volume and value.

Your main responsibilities

· Lead the local demand forecasting process and co-build demand plans with sales and marketing teams.

· Establish reliable forecasts based on statistical analysis, market trends, business assumptions, and S&OP cycles.

· Analyze deviations versus budget, historical data, and actual performance, in volume and value.

· Lead forecast meetings and prepare supporting materials including assumptions, risks, and opportunities.

· Update demand plans in planning tools and ensure data quality.

· Measure forecast performance (MAD, BIAS), propose improvement plans, and monitor their implementation.

· Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure plan feasibility, anticipate stock-out or overstock risks, and optimize inventory levels.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning processes, tools, and reporting.

Required profile :

Profile sought

· Higher education degree (Bac+5) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Management, or Business School.

· Experience in demand planning, supply chain, or business planning, ideally in an FMCG environment.

· Very good command of forecasting tools, data analysis, and Excel.

· Knowledge of APS tools such as JDA or BW is an asset.

· APICS certification is a plus.

· Good understanding of forecast performance indicators and market dynamics.

· Proficiency in French and English; Arabic is an additional asset.
