Job :

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Director of Accommodation to join our Accommodation Department at UIR Hospital. They will be responsible for defining, organizing, managing, and optimizing all activities related to hospital accommodation within UIR Hospital.
They will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, comfortable hospital environment that meets quality, hygiene, and safety standards, in order to ensure an optimal patient experience and operational efficiency of care units.

Your main responsibilities will be:

1. Hospital Hospitality, Catering & VIP Services:

  • Supervise the preparation and availability of rooms within the defined deadlines and standards
  • Ensure patient comfort: bedding, linen, equipment, environment, and associated services
  • Supervise the quality of catering services in line with medical requirements
  • Oversee the management of VIP services and associated services
  • Develop and improve the hotel service offering to enhance the patient experience
  • Manage associated services: television, Wi-Fi, concierge, room service, VIP reception, etc.
  • Monitor satisfaction indicators and implement continuous improvement actions.
  • Manage the catering service (contracting and operational monitoring).
  • Manage service providers (cafeterias, shops, etc.)

2. Bio-cleaning & Premises Hygiene

  • Organize and manage bio-cleaning activities in coordination with the hospital hygiene manager
  • Ensure the application of cleaning and disinfection protocols adapted to different hospital areas
  • Supervise the planning of cleaning operations
  • Control the quality of services through audits, checks, and indicators
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and infection prevention standards
  • Participate in the training and awareness of teams on good hygiene practices

3. Hospital Linen Management

  • Supervise the entire hospital linen process and ensure the availability of clean linen in the units
  • Ensure the secure management of clean/dirty linen flows
  • Optimize stocks and logistics flows
  • Manage the professional clothing of hospital staff

4. Hotel Reception & Patient Services

  • Contribute to the orientation and support of patients and visitors
  • Organize complementary services related to patient comfort
  • Supervise the handling of complaints and feedback
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the patient experience

5. Quality and Continuous Improvement

  • Define and monitor performance indicators
  • Conduct quality audits and checks
  • Manage corrective action plans
  • Ensure the quality, continuity, and compliance of outsourced services

6. Management and Organization

  • Recruit, integrate, and support employees
  • Supervise managers and operational teams
  • Develop team skills
  • Establish a patient-oriented service culture
  • Ensure schedule management and business continuity
  • Define objectives and evaluate performance
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment

7. Quality Management and Compliance

  • Ensure the compliance of activities with hospital and regulatory standards
  • Monitor applicable quality standards (ACI, HACCP, hospital hygiene, safety, environment)
  • Ensure compliance with safety, confidentiality, and risk prevention protocols
  • Monitor adverse events
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions

Required profile :

  • Master's degree (Bac +5) in Hotel Management, Hospital Management, Healthcare Facility Administration, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role in a healthcare facility
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures
  • Organizational skills and rigor
  • Good interpersonal skills
