Job :

- Develop and implement natural hazard models (floods, earthquakes, landslides) using deterministic and probabilistic approaches
- Parameterize, calibrate, and validate models using hydrological, geophysical, and climate data
- Utilize and structure spatial databases (hazards, exposure, vulnerability)
- Contribute to probabilistic loss estimates (EP curves, return periods, sensitivity analyses)
- Participate in the continuous improvement of EVCAT models and methodologies
- Ensure scientific and technical watch in catastrophe modelling

Required profile :

Master's degree or equivalent (engineering school, master's, or doctorate) in Geology, Hydrology, Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Hydraulics, or an equivalent discipline
Solid skills in natural risk modelling (floods, earthquakes, etc.)
Good command of probabilistic and stochastic approaches applied to risks
Proficiency in Python and/or R
Proficiency in GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, etc.)
Ability to handle large datasets (climate, hydrological, geographical)
Scientific rigor, analytical mindset, and structured methods
Good level of technical English
