The Territorial Development Branch, whose missions are embodied by the holding company CDG
Development, manages the execution of strategic orientations defined by the CDG Group
in territorial development activities. Present throughout Morocco,
it actively participates in the success of the advanced regionalization project. The branch,
structured into Business Hubs, has a vocation as a long-term operator and investor, which
supports public policies in its various fields of intervention, while reconciling
profitability requirements and general interest. The Branch has carried out numerous structuring
and emblematic projects in key sectors for Morocco.
Through the business expertise of its subsidiaries, the Territorial Development Branch contributes to
the creation of national wealth and the revitalization of the country's economy. It positions itself
today as a major and essential player in integrated and
sustainable territorial development.
Reporting to the Operations Department, the main tasks assigned to the forestry engineer are as follows:
• Forest Planning and Management: Develop and implement management plans for the company's forest areas, evaluate forest resources (inventories, mapping, monitoring growth and planning reforestation, maintenance and harvesting operations;
• Forest Harvesting: Set up cutting areas, prepare specifications for the sale of forest products, supervise cutting and removal operations of forest products;
• Project Management and Coordination: Plan, monitor and evaluate forestry projects, coordinate the work of technical teams and subcontractors, and manage budgets and deadlines;
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Adopt new technologies, improve the productivity and sustainability of forestry operations, participate in the development of sustainable solutions, contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the Company's Integrated Management System;
• Forest Protection and Conservation: Ensure the preservation of forest ecosystems and biodiversity, implement actions to combat fires/diseases/pests and forest offenses, and ensure compliance with environmental and forestry regulations;
• Communication and Reporting: Set up dashboards, write technical and environmental reports, collaborate with authorities, partners, and local communities, and participate in internal and external audits.
• Master's degree (Bac+5): Engineering degree in forestry or agronomy;
• Skills in project management, team coordination, and budget monitoring;
• Practical knowledge of new technologies (GIS, remote sensing);
• Ability to communicate and consult with populations living near forests, local authorities, and other stakeholders;
• Good analytical and synthesis skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teaching ability;
• Autonomy, rigor, and organizational skills.
