Join our dynamic company in the Distribution sector! Based in Casablanca, discover a unique opportunity as a Junior Security & Networks Engineer. Your mission will be at the heart of protecting and ensuring the performance of our IT infrastructures.

Actively contribute to the implementation and maintenance of IT security strategies. Ensure the reliability and performance of our networks to support the company's daily operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and analyzing network traffic to detect any suspicious activity.
  • Configuring and managing security equipment such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Participating in the implementation of security policies and their enforcement.
  • Managing and optimizing network infrastructures.
  • Providing technical support to users regarding security and connectivity issues.
  • Staying updated on new threats and security solutions.

Required profile :

A degree of Master's level (Bac +5) and above in Junior Security & Networks Engineering is required for this position.

Contribute to the design, deployment, and integration of cybersecurity and network solutions for GAM Business Solutions clients, under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.

JOB MISSIONS
An engineer autonomous in common technical tasks, the Junior Security & Networks Engineer supports the Senior on client projects. They will handle configurations, deployments, tests, and documentation, and gradually develop skills in architecture design and pre-sales.
Mission 1: Contribution to Pre-Sales
In this role, they must:
• Participate in the analysis of specifications and the drafting of technical responses under the guidance of the Senior.
• Prepare compliance matrices, diagrams, and technical addressing plans.
• Contribute to the preparation of Proofs of Concept (PoC) and client demonstrations.
• Prepare technical sheets and presentation materials.
Mission 2: Configuration and Integration of Solutions
In this role, they must:
• Configure security equipment (NGFW firewalls, IPS, VPN) according to standards defined in the LLD.
• Configure network equipment (switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points) according to validated architectural principles.
• Implement filtering policies, NAT rules, VPN tunnels, and UTP profiles.
• Participate in coexistence and cutover phases under the supervision of the Senior.
Mission 3: Deployment and Commissioning
In this role, they must:
• Physically install equipment at client sites and perform connections.
• Execute acceptance testing scenarios (FAT/SAT) and record results.
• Participate in client traffic migration and cutover operations.
• Fill out intervention forms and deployment reports.
Mission 4: Documentation and Knowledge Capitalization
In this role, they must:
• Write final configurations, integration diagrams, and operational dossiers.
• Maintain configuration registers and equipment inventories.
• Contribute to the internal GBS knowledge base (procedures, lessons learned).
Mission 5: Technical Support and Maintenance
In this role, they must:
• Act as Level 2 support for incidents and requests from clients under maintenance contracts.
• Perform preventive maintenance operations (checks, updates, backups).
• Escalate complex incidents to the Senior and coordinate with vendor TACs.
Mission 6: Skill Development
In this role, they must:
• Gradually acquire vendor certifications defined in the career plan.
• Participate in internal and vendor training.
• Expand their scope of autonomy under the guidance of the BU Director and the referent Senior.
REQUIRED SKILLS
NGFW Firewalls: Good practical mastery of at least one leading solution (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point) - configuration, rules, UTP profiles, VPN.
Networks: Mastery of fundamentals: L2/L3 switching, VLANs, static and dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP), enterprise Wi-Fi, QoS.
Perimeter Security: Configuration of IPS modules, antivirus, URL filtering, application control, SSL decryption.
VPN and Remote Access: Implementation of IPsec and SSL VPN tunnels according to defined standards.
Cloud (basic understanding): Awareness of Cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure).
Tools: Wireshark, monitoring, FortiAnalyzer / Panorama, basic scripting (Bash, Python).
• Fast learning ability and autonomy in common technical tasks.
• Rigor, attention to detail, and documentation discipline.
• Team spirit and ability to work in pairs with a referent Senior.
• Clear communication and active listening in client interactions.
• Mastery of written and spoken French; technical English.
• Service-oriented and commitment to meeting deadlines.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Master's degree (Bac +5) in networks and telecommunications, cybersecurity, or equivalent engineering degree.
Fortinet: FCP-FGT (FortiGate), ideally FCP-FMG.
Palo Alto Networks: PCNSA or PCNSE in progress.
Check Point: CCSA (and CCSE desired).
Cisco: CCNA, CCNP Security in progress.
Cloud (appreciated): AWS Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft AZ-900.
2 to 5 years of experience in network and security integration, ideally with an integrator or operator.
