Job :

Context of the mission:

To ensure optimal Quality of Service (QoS) on each of its radio equipment, the Central Engineering Department (DCI) needs optimization methods. You will be in the team that defines these optimization methods.
A method is a document explaining a process to follow and apply on the network. At DCI Method, we define radio optimization methods. Your role is to create the method from end to end, meaning the network optimization process. To do this, you can audit the network, conduct your own studies, retrieve recommendations from the technical department, which will allow you to write the radio optimization process.
You will then test this process on the Bouygues Telecom network in a limited area. The process, which you will have written in the form of a flowchart, you will present it to the production engineers who will apply it daily.
In other words, your role is not to apply optimizations on the network.

This role belongs to the production engineers.


As a method referent, you will monitor the application of the method through efficiency KPIs that you will have defined. You will be led to evolve this method according to these efficiency KPIs and according to network evolutions (you will be in contact with the Bouygues Telecom Technical Department to anticipate network needs).

ACTIVITIES:


With all the knowledge acquired in your various professional experiences, you will be able to develop the optimization methods for the Bouygues Telecom network.


Optimization methods and processes:


•Carrying out technical studies prior to the development of optimization methods.
•Formalizing processes so that they can be applied on the network by production engineers
•Implementing quality and efficiency KPIs for the method to monitor its correct application.
•Carrying out an experimental zone (ZE) to test your method in a real case on the network
•Presenting methods to the production teams who will apply them
•Monitoring the progress of the first production
•Analyzing production KPIs and participating in the implementation of a continuous improvement process via feedback.
•Harmonizing business methods within all optimization processes

Exchanges with internal and external DCI structures:


With all the knowledge acquired in your various professional experiences, you will be able to
develop the optimization methods for the Bouygues Telecom network.
•Implementing a feedback system (RETEX) with the entities applying the methods to identify
blockages and achievements of the engaged processes
•Organizing and participating in working groups with the entities applying the methods
•Organizing and participating in synchronization meetings with all Method Engineers to harmonize business methods.
•Liaising with the radio Technical Department to gather and challenge Bouygues Telecom's strategy.


Management of a documentary base:


•Creation and updating of the documentary base of your technical studies, method test reports (ZE), production pilot reports, methods and processes, WG minutes, reference documents from the technical department 
 


Required profile :

Master's degree (Bac +5) in networks and telecommunications, with significant experience in QoS (Quality of Service) and drive testing.

Mandatory skills:

use of the NEMO Analyze tool

  • Radio engineering rules Bytel, 2G/3G/4G radio mobility strategy (VoLTE), level 3 protocol messages
  • Radio engineering rules Bytel, 5G radio mobility strategy, level 3 protocol messages
  • Knowledge of mapping tools: QGIS, ArcGIS
  • Ability to impact operations and query Lynx
  • ATOLL: ACP/AFP
  • EFO
  • Ability to query Lynx, BO, MyPerf
  • Knowledge of BYT tools: SUPREM, IPOD, BO, GIR, GCR, AVATAR, configuration optimization, probes, Huawei and Ericsson radio OMC
  • Radio troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to model intellectual processes
  • Knowledge of BYT's organization regarding the activity
