TV Presenter/Journalist (M/F) - Rabat

Created in 2003, under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Horse (SOREC) has for main missions the supervision of breeding, the development of horse racing and the management of horse betting in Morocco.

Through its mission, SOREC ensures the supervision of racing societies, supports breeding programs as a partner of breeders' associations and works to improve national racing infrastructure.     

In addition, SOREC is engaged in a policy aimed at improving the competitiveness of Moroccan breeding and boosting the horse market.

SOREC covers the entire country with 5 stud farms, 43 breeding stations and 11 equine breeding promotion centers, in addition to numerous collaborations with the main equine associations in the kingdom.

Job :

Reporting to the Operations Department, your main mission will be to ensure the live hosting and commentary of horse racing events. You will co-host the show "Pronos Courses" and will be heard daily on Radio MARS. You will also be responsible for preparing and analyzing racing meetings.

As such, your main activities will be:

Live Hosting and Commentary

- Prepare interventions and commentary before live broadcasts
- Host and comment live on horse races during sporting events
- Analyze the performance of horses, jockeys, and trainers to provide contextual information during races
- Conduct interviews with key players in the horse racing industry to provide in-depth perspectives
- Develop scenarios and scripts to guide commentary during live broadcasts 

Monitoring and News

- Follow developments and news in the field of horse racing to maintain up-to-date knowledge
- Participate in the preparation and analysis of racing meetings, including data collection and identification of favorites

 
Audience Interaction

- Interact with the audience by answering questions and comments during live shows

Required profile :

•  Educated at Bac+4/5 level (Master's degree or equivalent) in journalism, communication, or equivalent, with 2 to 5 years of successful experience in a similar role, ideally in sports broadcasting.
•  Perfectly mastering the journalism profession.
•  Possessing excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as editorial creativity.
•  Equipped with persuasive abilities and good communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Demonstrating curiosity, open-mindedness, eloquence, charisma, responsiveness, and a problem-solving orientation.
•  Having a perfect knowledge of the company's field of activity and the specifics of the sector.
