Job :

We are looking for a dynamic, competent, and highly professional Chemotherapy Preparer to join the Pharmacy Department at UIR Hospital. Under the responsibility of the pharmacist, they will ensure the preparation of anti-cancer treatments in strict compliance with current procedures, hygiene, safety, and quality rules, in order to guarantee the conformity of preparations and the safety of patients and professionals.

Your main missions will focus on the following areas:

• Assist the pharmacist in managing the stocks of pharmaceutical products necessary for preparation activities, ensuring the availability of medicines, devices, and consumables.
• Participate in periodic inventories and contribute to monitoring the entry, exit, expiry, and storage conditions of products.
• Rigorously apply hygiene and safety rules, including wearing personal protective equipment, respecting cleaning and disinfection protocols for work areas, and safe handling rules for cytotoxic and other hazardous products.
• Carry out chemotherapy preparations in accordance with validated prescriptions and according to the procedures in force in the establishment, then submit them for validation by the responsible pharmacist before dispensing.
• Participate in the quality control of preparations under the responsibility of the supervising pharmacist, ensuring the traceability of operations performed and reporting any anomalies or non-conformities.
• Contribute to the continuous quality improvement process by applying the establishment's procedures, protocols, and best practices, and by participating in their evolution.

Required profile :

• Hold a diploma as an auxiliary nurse or caregiver, or an equivalent diploma.
• Training in chemotherapy preparation, ideally in a hospital setting or an internal pharmacy.
• At least 5 years of experience in chemotherapy preparation.
• Knowledge of cytotoxic products, associated safety rules, and quality requirements applicable to this sector is desirable.
• Mastery of preparation techniques in a secure environment, knowledge of asepsis, hygiene, safety, and traceability rules, and the ability to strictly apply internal procedures and best preparation practices.
• Good team spirit.
• Rigor, vigilance, organization, and professional discretion.
