Join our leading company in the furniture and decoration sector, ideally located in Casablanca. An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Purchasing Manager who wants to leverage their expertise within a dynamic and growing organization. 

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for the turnover and profitability of the product categories assigned to them. They define and implement the strategy for their portfolio in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure the development of their business. They are also responsible for sourcing products, both locally and internationally, ensuring an offer adapted to customer needs.

Your Role
· Define the sourcing policy;

· Analyze the positioning of a product range (or collection) in line with the commercial strategy: contribution to turnover, sales volume, brand image, shelf placement;

· Develop a supplier sourcing plan;

· Participate in trade shows and supplier visits;

· Participate in defining the product offer and ensure its implementation in stores, in coordination with the merchandising manager: organize the typical assortment, product presentation and staging, shelf positioning, by store category (specific categories);

· Manage an annual purchasing budget for a product range;

· Monitor the commercial performance of products (turnover, price, margin);

· Participate in purchasing committees;

· Lead projects with various stakeholders;

· Participate in the realization of the presentation and promotion of assortments.

· Ensure product compliance with Moroccan standards

Required profile :

You have a strong academic background, with a degree of Master's level or higher, ideally in Business, Marketing, Management, or equivalent.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or e-commerce sector, with expertise in product category management, sourcing, and commercial strategy.

· Good knowledge of the company's commercial and marketing policy to design a suitable product offer that is effectively integrated into the brand's range.

· Excellent knowledge of the product range (or category) to define assortments offering the best sales potential.

· Good knowledge of product pricing to adjust the strategy according to the product lifecycle.

· Familiarity with spreadsheet software (Excel) or database tools.
