As part of strengthening our finance department, we are recruiting an Accounting & Tax Manager reporting to the Administrative & Financial Director. You will be responsible for the reliability of accounts, tax compliance, and managing closings in a demanding environment.
Job :
Accounting supervision & closings
• Ensure the reliability and integrity of accounts in compliance with Moroccan accounting standards
• Manage periodic closings (monthly, quarterly, and annual) within the given deadlines
• Supervise reconciliation and clearing of inter-company accounts
Tax compliance & relations with authorities
• Oversee all tax declarations (Corporate Tax, VAT, Payroll Tax) and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage tax audits and act as the liaison with the DGI (Moroccan Tax Administration) and external advisors
• Provide tax expertise on complex issues encountered by the company
• Prepare VAT refund files and tax returns
Reporting & financial management
• Ensure the production of financial reports for management within deadlines
• Monitor key financial indicators: Working Capital Requirement, cash flow, supplier payment terms
• Contribute to transformation projects for accounting and financial information systems
• Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with statutory auditors
Team management
• Supervise and lead an accounting team, ensuring skill development for each member
• Organize workload and ensure coordination between various internal and external stakeholders
Required profile :
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and taxation
• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Accounting, Auditing, Management Control, or equivalent
• Proficiency in the Moroccan tax and accounting framework
• Good knowledge of HRIS and ERP systems (SAP, Sage 100/1000, or equivalent)
• Rigor, organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities in a complex environment
• Strong leadership and ability to unite a team around common goals
• Fluent French required, professional English appreciated
