Aya Gold & Silver is a growing Canadian silver producer operating in the Kingdom of Morocco.
Aya is the only silver-focused mining company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. It operates the high-grade Zgounder silver mine and explores its highly prospective land along the South Atlasic Accident, much of which hosts old mines and historical resources. In addition to its Moroccan mining assets, Aya also owns the Tijirit gold project in Mauritania, which is advancing to the feasibility study stage.
As part of its expansion, AYA Gold & Silver is strengthening its teams with skills in various trades, particularly maintenance.
Job :
1. Payroll Management and Processing
Prepare, control, and ensure monthly payroll processing;
Collect, verify, and integrate variable compensation elements;
Monitor absences, leave, overtime, bonuses, allowances, deductions, and other elements affecting payroll;
Verify data consistency before final payroll validation;
Ensure control of payslips and make necessary corrections;
Guarantee adherence to payroll deadlines;
Follow up on advances, installments, loans, and other salary deductions;
Prepare payroll-related control statements and tables;
Respond to employee requests and claims regarding their compensation;
Ensure the confidentiality of salary data.
2. Personnel Administration
Ensure the management and updating of employee administrative files;
Prepare and monitor employment contracts, amendments, certificates, and attestations;
Manage staff arrivals and departures;
Monitor probation periods, renewals, and contract expiry dates;
Keep databases and individual employee files up to date;
Monitor leave, absences, sick days, and other administrative events;
Prepare the necessary administrative documents for employee management;
Ensure employee files comply with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
3. Insurance and Social File Management
Manage and process employee-related insurance;
Handle affiliations, de-registrations, and updates of files with insurance organizations;
Monitor files for medical coverage and other social insurances;
Process and follow up on reimbursement and coverage files;
Monitor files related to work accidents, occupational diseases, and other claims, in coordination with relevant organizations;
Control contributions and insurance-related items;
Liaise with insurance companies and various social organizations;
Respond to employee requests concerning their insurance rights and benefits.
4. Social Declarations and Administrative Obligations
Prepare and monitor mandatory social and administrative declarations;
Ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines;
Verify calculation bases and declared amounts;
Monitor social contribution payments;
Prepare necessary documents during social controls or audits;
Stay informed about changes in social regulations and their impact on payroll and personnel administration.
5. HR Reporting and Dashboards
Develop payroll and headcount dashboards;
Produce monthly HR reports;
Monitor headcount, payroll costs, absences, and staff movements;
Prepare analyses and indicators necessary for decision-making;
Participate in improving the reliability and accuracy of HR data.
6. Improvement of HR Processes
Participate in the continuous improvement of payroll and personnel administration processes;
Identify anomalies and propose corrective actions;
Contribute to the digitalization and optimization of HR administrative processes;
Ensure proper application of internal procedures;
Participate in HR projects related to payroll, personnel administration, and HR information systems.
Required profile :
PROFILE SOUGHT Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) in Human Resources, Management, Accounting, Finance, Labor Law, or equivalent qualification;
A specialization in payroll management or personnel administration is an asset.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role;
Experience in the mining, industrial, construction (BTP), or a company with a large workforce is highly desirable;
Experience in managing insurance and social files is a significant advantage.
