Job :

Reporting to the Quality and HSE department, the Special Processes Manager ensures compliance with customer and internal requirements regarding special processes installations, operators, procedures, and parameters, while guaranteeing their long-term maintenance.

You will be responsible for the following areas:

Special Processes & Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with customer and certification body requirements for special processes
- Monitor and maintain special processes within the company
- Develop standards, procedures, and documents related to special processes and metrology
- Analyze and verify process impacts following changes in customer standards
- Actively participate in the resolution of NCRs related to special processes

Audits & Certifications:

- Lead and manage external customer and NADCAP audits (HT, NDT, CP…)
- Monitor and facilitate internal Special Processes audits
- Respond to and follow up on action plans resulting from process qualification or requalification audits
- Ensure timely closure of corrective actions

Qualification & Metrology:

- Lead the qualification of personnel working on special processes (training, evaluations, certifications)
- Monitor qualification audits for PS operators
- Develop and update internal and external qualification files
- Lead and ensure the proper management of tensile testing and metrology laboratories
- Guarantee the conformity of the metrology equipment and compliance with calibrations/verifications

Technical Support & Performance:

- Verify and validate FAI sections related to special processes
- Approve definition file analysis sheets (PS section)
- Verify FIF and FCI related to PS operations
- Monitor performance indicators for the special processes and metrology department
- Ensure compliance with the schedule for internal PS audits and process/equipment requalification deadlines

Required profile :

Profile sought:

- You have graduated from a top engineering school in materials, processes, mechanics, or aeronautics.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in the aeronautics, automotive, or industrial sector.
- You master the requirements related to special processes and quality standards.
- You have good knowledge of customer and NADCAP audits.
- You have strong skills in metrology, process qualification, and continuous improvement.
- You are recognized for your rigor, analytical skills, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English is highly desired.
