Reporting to the Supply Chain Management, you will report to the Transport Manager and your main missions will be:

• Supervise and manage all aspects of the transport department,
• Ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products to customers.
• You will play a crucial role in optimizing transport processes, reducing costs, and maintaining the highest service and safety standards.

Job Activities:

• Develop and implement transport strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate and manage the transport team, including drivers and logistics staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and transport laws.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to improve transport processes.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of the company's vehicle fleet.
• Monitor and analyze transport costs and performance indicators.
• Coordinate with purchasing to negotiate contracts with transport service providers to obtain favorable terms.
• Resolve transport-related issues and handle internal and external customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements in the field of transport.

Required profile :

Education and Experience:

• Engineering degree in logistics, Supply Chain;
• You have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, in an industrial environment;
• SAP experience, TMS is a plus;
• Good computer skills in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and big data management.

Technical Skills:

• Very good command of logistics operations (Transport in particular);
• Advanced level of data analysis with perfect mastery of Excel and Power BI tools;
• Very good level on SAP.
