Job :

Your main tasks will include:

  • Identify and prospect for new potential clients in the international transport sector (FTL)
  • Build, develop, and retain a profitable and sustainable client portfolio.
  • Proactively solicit carriers for international road transport.
  • Establish a database of subcontractors
  • Develop and present personalized commercial offers.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure follow-up of closed deals.
  • Analyze the market and competition to adapt commercial strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate prices, conditions, and services with the client/carrier.
  • Conduct direct prospecting actions: calls, visits, networking, participation in trade shows.
  • Communicate with different internal departments (Risk management, traffic department) to ensure excellent execution of sold services.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise incoming orders.
     

Required profile :

To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) or higher is required, ideally in transport and logistics / freight forwarding or Supply Chain Management.

A solid academic background has prepared you to understand the strategic challenges of sales.

Professional experience of between 3 and 5 years in a similar role is highly appreciated.

  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Proactive approach and results orientation.
  • Knowledge of the transport and logistics sector as well as the automotive industry.
  • Autonomy and proactivity.
