The Scrum Master will work in a multi-team SAFe environment, which involves:
Active participation in SAFe ceremonies: PI Planning, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt
Close coordination with other Scrum Masters in the train (Rocade, COTI, CONCERTO) to ensure inter-team alignment and synchronization, and to share and spread Agile best practices
Contribution to the overall vision of the train in coordination with the Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Ability to manage inter-team dependencies and facilitate their resolution
Understanding of Program Increments (PI) and their link with team sprints
An active role in spreading Agile culture at scale within the SAFe train
As a true conductor for the development team, the Scrum Master will be responsible for:
Implementation and guarantee of the Scrum method: sprint planning, organization, and facilitation of all Agile ceremonies (daily, sprint planning, review, retrospective)
Monitoring of continuous improvement areas identified during retrospectives
Ensuring adherence to the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD)
Organizing 1-to-1 meetings with team members to detect early signs of issues and new areas for improvement
Tracking progress metrics (burndown/burnup charts) on JIRA
Monitoring performance indicators at each sprint: velocity, team engagement, and satisfaction
Proactive analysis of obstacles, roadblocks, and external interferences that may slow down the team
Ensuring smooth communication within the team and with stakeholders (Product Owner, management, project manager)
Guaranteeing the consistency and reliability of information within the team
Supporting the Product Owner in their decision-making (team, product, tools) and knowing how to challenge certain requests if necessary
Identifying and proposing concrete solutions to problems encountered throughout the project
Fostering the team's creativity, autonomy, and skill development to improve productivity
Managing change to embed a truly Agile culture and practices within the team
Required profile :
Master's degree (Bac+5) in Engineering School or equivalent university education
4 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile application environment
Experience in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) context will be particularly valued
Proficiency in JIRA / Confluence tools
Good knowledge of information systems
Experience in Java technical design or REST API testing is an additional asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong team spirit and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to federate, facilitate, and support change
Benevolent leadership and servant leader posture
Scrum Master Certification: CSM or PSM
And/or Agile transformation certification: ICP-ACC or SAFe Scrum Master
