As a DevOps developer within the ROM team, you will design and implement the orchestration and activation layer for resources on virtualised infrastructure.
We use Crossplane to manage IaaS and CaaS resources on OpenShift PoPs, and their network configuration on PEs via NSO.
Your main responsibilities include:
· Evolve the objects exposed by Crossplane to IaaS/CaaS consumers.
· Implement the resource orchestration rules managed on the PoPs and NSO.
· Contribute to the improvement of our GitOps CI/CD chain (GitLab CI, Argo CD, Kustomize).
· Improve the observability and reliability of the platform (monitoring, logs, dashboards, alerting).
· Collaborate with other teams during SAFe rituals, technical workshops, and E2E testing sessions.
· You will play a key role in digital transformation by providing robust, automated, and production-ready "as-a-service" solutions.
Required profile :
Engineering degree or equivalent in computer science, telecommunications, or a related field
- Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift (workloads, RBAC, CRDs/Operators)
- Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies (K8s, OpenShift).
- Proficiency in Linux and troubleshooting cloud-native systems.
- Scripting and automation skills: Python, GoTemplating, proficiency in YAML.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Nexus, Renovate, Kustomize...).
- Good understanding of IP networks and SDN concepts (routing, VLAN/VXLAN, security groups...).
