Created in 2003, under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Horse (SOREC) has the main missions of supervising breeding, developing horse racing and managing horse racing games in Morocco.
By virtue of its mission, SOREC ensures the supervision of racing companies, supports breeding programs as a partner of breeders' associations and ensures the improvement of national equestrian infrastructures.
In addition to this, SOREC is engaged in a policy aimed at improving the competitiveness of Moroccan breeding and energizing the horse market.
SOREC covers the entire country with 5 stud farms, 43 breeding stations and 11 equine breeding promotion centers in addition to numerous collaborations with the main equine associations of the kingdom.

Reporting to the Sector Pole, your mission will be to collaborate with the veterinary team by providing technical assistance to the veterinary practitioner and by ensuring the follow-up of horses in consultation or hospitalization.
As such, your main activities will be:
Preparation of diagnostic instruments and materials
- Anticipate equipment needs for examinations and care
- Check the availability of the operating room and anesthetic products
- Prepare the necessary instruments for each intervention
Preparation of horses and maintenance of equipment
- Ensure the preparation of horses before medical and surgical interventions
- Clean and disinfect equipment after each surgery
- Guarantee the good condition and cleanliness of the equipment
Management of medication and paramedical material stock
- Monitor and track stock levels of medications and medical equipment
- Update data daily on Veto Partner
- Record medication dispensations and monitor their expiry dates
Carrying out care and medical procedures
- Perform necessary care for inpatients in accordance with established protocols
- Constitute horse case files
Monitoring medication inventory
- Regularly carry out medication inventory
- Ensure the availability and conformity of medications
Collaboration with the veterinary team
- Work in close collaboration with the veterinary practitioner
- Support the practitioner in medical and surgical interventions
- Contribute to the smooth running of procedures
As a potential candidate:
- You have a diploma of Bac +2/3 (Specialized Technician laureate from the National Institute of the Horse, or similar institution) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the equine world.
- You have mastered clinical and laboratory analysis techniques.
- You have the ability to provide on-call services and duty shifts according to service needs.
- You have good in-depth knowledge of horse physiology and behavior.
