A recent information day was organized across all governorates by the Ministry of Professional Training to publicize government initiatives supporting businesses in hiring higher education graduates.
The event showcased programs from the 21-21 National Employment Fund and national programs for company upgrades. The goal was to facilitate graduate recruitment and encourage businesses to improve their management-to-employee ratios.
It also aimed to connect regional professional training and employment services, and support structures, with businesses and investors.
Experts detailed the various mechanisms at meetings attended by representatives from roughly 700 companies.
Participants discussed how to leverage these mechanisms, including additional language and computer training programs and on-demand training to meet companies' human resources needs.
Emphasis was placed on national company upgrade programs and their tangible and intangible benefits, especially improvements to economic indicators and management-to-employee ratios, making companies more competitive.
Testimonies from company representatives who benefited from these programs were also shared.
Furthermore, employment contracts for higher education graduates were signed in some governorates at the end of the day.
