In the framework of the 10th edition of Operation Bahri Dima Clean, the Bahri Association, dedicated to the protection of the Moroccan coastline, is hosting a beach tour on the theme of "recycling and waste management".
This operation, organized under the aegis of the Ministry of the Environment, will take place from May 10 to June 7, 2015 and will bring together 7,000 people in 5 different cities. Furthermore, this unprecedented 10th edition will also reach more than 10,000 students in various schools, associations and orphanages through an ecological program to create permanent installations (benches) using waste for more educational awareness and less waste!
On the program: Beach cleaning with music, fun and educational workshops on awareness and recycling, sports activities and a concert for the environment. This tour aims to clean up the rubbish that pollutes and affects the image of the beaches, as well as raising awareness among future generations about the protection of the coastline.
During this tour, BAHRI's main ambition will be to create awareness and raise consciousness, especially among young people, while allowing them to have a pleasant day!
Finally, this day dedicated to the environment will be honored by the presence of several personalities including the US ambassador, oceanographers, athletes, diplomats and artists from all walks of life.
The Bahri operation will be hosted by 5 beaches:
May 10 in El Jadida - Sea Forum
May 17 in Rabat - Oudayas Beach
May 24 in Safi - Safi Beach
May 31 in Mohammedia - Sablettes Beach
June 7 in Casablanca - Ain Diab Beach
