Only 370 jobs were planned. There are 6909 unemployed in youth, sports, and physical education sectors among graduates from 2004-2010.
They are divided into three sectors: 4015 in physical education, 1602 in sports, and 1202 in youth and culture animation.
The ministry adopted a clear recruitment method based on seniority of diploma, job offers in different sectors, and handling of social cases in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs and by region.
Regarding the problem of competitions for sports sectors, the contractual formula was chosen, guaranteeing contract employees the same salary and social benefits as permanent employees; same salary for the same diploma.
The created jobs, the ministry assures, are permanent and not temporary. Recruited employees will be assigned to ministry departments nearest their residence.
The ministry decided to create new jobs and will distribute them according to current criteria.
It mentions new programs from the Ministry of Professional Training and Employment, such as the "Amal" program (part of the "active job search program"), available at employment offices.
This program offers a 200 dinar bonus and "public sector trainee" status, plus international recruitment through technical cooperation.
This effort includes a permanent unit within the ministry and similar units in regional youth and sports offices to find new job opportunities for graduates of sports and physical education institutes and the Higher Institute of Youth and Culture Animation, with one representative per sector.
The ministry emphasizes that addressing unemployment is gradual, and these measures are a first step, with more to follow.
