143 Hectares of Industrial Zones in Hammam Zriba

A new industrial zone will be built in Hammam Zriba in 2011. Hammam Zriba is a town about 60 kilometers south of Tunis, at the foot of Djebel Zaghouan. This zone will cover 100 hectares and cost about 11 million dinars.

This brings the total area of the four industrial zones in the region to 143 hectares.

Work on the third industrial zone (15 hectares) has just been completed at a cost of around 2.5 million dinars.

Since the start of 2010, 29 projects with a total value of 47 million dinars have been planned for these industrial zones. These projects should create more than 800 jobs.

The first industrial zone in Hammam Zriba opened about ten years ago. Today, it has 39 local businesses, providing 3062 jobs, including 17 export companies.
