3rd Meeting of Women Journalists and Communication Officers from Mediterranean Countries

Marrakech- A meeting of women journalists and communication officers from Mediterranean countries, the third of its kind, will be held on October 23 and 24 in Marrakech, on the initiative of the association "Ennakhil for Women and Children" (AEFE).

Organized in partnership with "Aera de la Muje" (Women's Era) of Radio Vallekas (Spain) and the Mediterranean network for gender information and communication, this event will bring together a number of women journalists from several countries including Palestine, Turkey, Egypt, Algeria, Italy, France, Tunisia and Morocco.

This meeting, which aims to establish a network of information and dialogue between women journalists and communication officers, will be an opportunity for an objective analysis of the role and means of communication in relation to their opinions on women's issues in a globalized world.

This event will also serve as a space for promoting the use of new information strategies and their processing through a gender approach.

The work of this meeting will focus on four themes: "migration: a bridge for departure and return", "journalistic coverage of information from countries in conflict", "communication: media and ICT" and "communication...information media and information and communication technologies".
