42 projects approved and 22 others hosted at El Ghazala technopôle

Alongside the review of project hosting applications and verification of their compliance with the specifics of the project nursery, a specialized commission within the El Ghazala technopôle (Ariana) is currently implementing a strategy aimed at promoting the project nursery nationally and internationally and ensuring its integration into its economic, social, technological and academic environment.

The objective is to provide young developers with experts in their fields of specialization. Indeed, for the past year (2010), the report shows 98 applications submitted, of which 42 projects were approved and another 22 hosted.

The creation of the project nursery dates back, it should be recalled, to 1999. Since then, it has been striving to provide adequate support to incubated developers, while promoting well-qualified supervision, training and logistical services.

This includes a bonus granted for 24 months to young developers, including university graduates, developers of innovative project ideas, and all those who wish to add an industrial dimension to their research projects.

The nursery, covering 480 square meters, also houses a suitable space to attract young developers in innovative sectors, such as new information and communication technologies (ICT) and multimedia.
