5 Tips for Efficiently Organizing Your Telecommuting

Teleworking is commonplace these days. Do you work in the middle of your kitchen or do you have a separate office?

How to efficiently organize your work from home?

1. Plan a pleasant workspace.

A separate office, a decent office chair, a large screen, good lighting and a fast internet connection are the fundamental elements of a well-equipped office. As far as possible; reserve a special room dedicated to your work.


2. Create a clear and precise schedule.

Try to combine as many tasks as possible in order to make the most of your time.


3. Working in pajamas or jogging pants is not an option.

Make sure you are well dressed so that your mind makes the transition between waking up and getting to work.


4. If members of your family are present in the same place, agree on your working hours and breaks.

Also let your entourage know that you are working from such and such a time. Don't let others disrupt your work schedule.


5. Establish a clear boundary between your work and your private life.

Combining household chores with processing professional files is not a good idea. Try to separate things and do household chores after you have finished working.
