5000 New Automotive Jobs in Morocco

Here is some economic news.
1. The Pininfarina Sergio has been confirmed for limited production. Only six will be made. All six models are already sold, although the price is still unknown.
2. On Wednesday, October 29, 2014, Moroccan authorities confirmed 13 investment agreements at the Automotive Meetings Tanger congress. This acceleration confirms that Morocco is becoming an automotive industry center. North Africa—and Africa in general—is experiencing a turning point in this and other sectors. These agreements involve companies such as Lear, Delphi, Antolin, Bontaz, and Faurecia. They will create 5,000 jobs.
3. Tesla plans to double its European production capacity starting in 2015. The Dutch factory in Tilburg will expand. A second unit will be added, increasing the total area to approximately 49,000 m2 from 18,000 m2 today. In addition to producing Model S cars, Tilburg should eventually also assemble Model X cars.
4. In Algeria, the production unit of the Société Algérienne pour la Fabrication des Véhicules Mercedes Benz (SAFAV-MB) located in Ain Bouchekif, in the Tiaret province, was inaugurated last Sunday.
