True to its tradition born seven years ago, the Banque Populaire Foundation for Business Creation (FBPCE) is launching, from today until May 31, 2013, the seventh edition of the "Call for Innovative Projects". In partnership with the regional committees for business creation, this operation open across fifteen regions of the Kingdom aims to select the best projects and to support their leaders in the process of creating their businesses.
In order to validate the application file, certain criteria must be met, including the quality of the product or service, creativity in terms of organization, distribution policy and governance. The results of these calls for projects are undeniable. Since the first edition held in 2006, no fewer than 1,600 businesses have been created. These same businesses have generated some 7,500 direct jobs in various economic sectors. It should be noted that the regional committees for business creation - partners of the FBPCE in the framework of these calls for innovative projects - have been established in partnership with the Regional Investment Centers (CRI) and other regional and national operators.
Let us recall that the FBPCE is a non-profit institution whose mission is notably to promote the entrepreneurial spirit, support and accompany project leaders across the different regions. It has developed an offer in pre-, during and post-creation, including managerial and entrepreneurial training coupled with personalized coaching. In addition to this offer, it reflects the ongoing commitment of the Banque Populaire Group alongside VSBs and SMEs. This status as an institution with an exclusively civic vocation earned the Foundation recognition of public utility in 2001 by the State. Since then, it has gained strong notoriety thanks to its expertise and know-how in the entrepreneurship market at regional, national and international levels.
