Agriculture: 300,000 permanent jobs created in 3 years.

Agricultural production has increased by 38% since the launch in 2008 of the Green Morocco Plan (GMP), announced in Rabat the Minister of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, Aziz Akhannouch, on the sidelines of the virtual Agriculture Summit. As part of the reforms of agricultural sector policies, "the agricultural sector achieved during the period 2007-2010 an added value of 20 billion DH, or 20% of the expected target" of the plan, said Akhannouch. These results have generated approximately 85 million working days, equivalent to 300,000 permanent jobs, said the minister, adding that 15 framework contracts have been signed between professionals and the State, determining commitments and objectives.
