Drop in declared investment and employment in the industry during the first quarter.

Declared investments in the industrial sector during the first three months of 2014 reached 786.3 million, compared to 878.3 million during the same period of 2013, thus recording a decrease of 10.5%, according to the latest API figures recently released.
The number of declared projects reached 1040 during the first quarter of 2014 compared to 1009 during the same period of 2013, an increase of 3.1%. These projects will create 15202 jobs, compared to 17282 jobs in 2013, a decrease of 12%.
