Coaching Attitude and Job Change
Feel free to take stock of your skills, experience and deep motivations. This will allow you to highlight all your potentialities, identify the goal to be achieved, your priorities and evaluate the path to follow.
Grieving: knowing what you are willing to lose to get what you want. You will have to overcome denial, anger, bargaining, and even sadness to get what you desire. “I had a stable job with all the material and social advantages in a major local bank, but I was bored, there was no challenge, no real responsibility, everything was political. Today I am in a smaller structure where everything is to be done, the challenge is enormous, but nothing works when it should, I have to do everything myself. I went through all the stages, from anger, to the threat of resignation, to deep demotivation and the feeling of having made a mistake. To this day I have understood that my desire for autonomy and challenge is much more important, I have alleviated my daily worries by better organizing my work and the work of my collaborators.”
Projecting into the future: your determination, confidence and enthusiasm will be the keys to your success. Prepare yourself, imagine yourself already at the finish line. Work, effort and involvement will be the main drivers of your success.
Nourishing yourself from the past and the present: it is from your past and your present that you will build your future. Learn to take advantage of your successes, your failures, what you have been, what you like to do or not do, to use it in your new job.
Finally, think about the Reflection of the month:
Whatever you can do
Whatever you dream
That you can do
Begin it!
Audacity has genius,
Power
And magic
