Small and sometimes big lies are common in job applications. Recruiters are not fooled. Find out which ones they tolerate... and which ones send your CV straight to the trash.
The most frequent lies
"We publish a study every one to two years on the subject. It shows that more than 80% of CVs are misleading, at different levels," says Augustin Valero, co-manager of the Florian Mantione Institute. Most of the time, it involves candidates playing on words: "training" or "level" instead of "diploma" when the diploma has not been obtained but the course has been followed.
