Creating your ReKrute resume, called "My ReKrute resume" on your dashboard, maximizes your chances of being contacted by a company. It is the most important element when applying, which is why you must fill it out meticulously with all the requested information: General, Experience, Training, Identity, Skills. It's a kind of copy-paste of your Word resume. Discover the steps to follow in this video to have a successful resume!
Why is the ReKrute resume so important?
When you apply for a job, the recruiter receives your ReKrute resume first. They can also search through the information it contains. It is therefore recommended to take the time to fill in all the fields and fill your resume with keywords. Note that the Word resume you attach is only a supplement and does not allow you to be well-referenced in our database.
Highlight it to be better noticed!
On the resume database: To give your resume the best chance of being noticed, set it to visible in the resume database. You are sure to be spotted by the 2500 companies and recruitment agencies already using our services. This increases your chances of being headhunted!
To make your resume visible in the ReKrute resume database, simply check the box "I want my ReKrute resume to be viewable by recruiters in the ReKrute resume database" in your "My ReKrute resume" space.
From your ReKrute space, you can be informed in real time of the number of times your resume has been viewed by a recruiter.
The title of your ReKrute resume
To maximize your chances of being noticed by recruiters, we advise you to give your resume a more attractive title. Your resume is your business card; give yourself every advantage: the title of your resume should summarize your career, highlight your area of expertise, sell your current skills, or express your professional aspirations.
Lastly, your ReKrute resume and your contact details must be regularly updated, for example if you change your phone number. You will then be selected by the search engine, and you will appear on the first page of results for the recruiter, sorted by date of last update.
By the same action, your resume will be automatically updated on the recruiter's private resume database. For example, if the recruiter archived your resume 4 years ago, it will be automatically updated for them!
