Mr. Karim Mejri, advisor to the office of the Minister of Professional Training and Employment, stated yesterday that the results of most recruitment competitions in the Public Service will be announced towards the end of July. During the regular meeting of the communication unit at the Prime Ministry, Mr. Mejri indicated that candidates will be invited during the month of August to take oral exams.
He specified, in this context, that 86% of the open positions concern the baccalaureate level and above and that the age of job seekers varies between 25 and 30 years.
Some 210,000 job seekers consulted the ministry's website created for this purpose in May 2011. Of this total, 133,000 submitted their applications to the competitions open on this site.
He declared that the Ministry of Professional Training and Employment is concerned with applying the criteria adopted for recruitment, namely the year of obtaining the diploma, the grade obtained, the candidate's age, their family situation and the training internships completed.
He announced, in this respect, that commissions have been created within the ministries concerned in order to meticulously examine the files submitted.
On the other hand, he affirmed that the special employment program put in place by the ministry for the short term includes, in addition to recruitment competitions in the public sector, a plan to revitalize the job market in the private sector and support for job seekers.
