Partnership Agreement between Taysir Conseil and the Ministry of Employment

The Ministry of Professional Training and Employment and the Taysir Conseil association have just signed a partnership agreement to benefit about one hundred young people. This aims to "improve youth employability" and "strengthen initiatives in the field of employment in general and self-employment in particular through training, support and project financing".

The Minister of Professional Training and Employment, Hafedh Laamouri, took this opportunity to reiterate the effort of associations like Taysir Conseil in supporting the ministry's work, particularly in supporting and financing projects of young entrepreneurs.

The Minister also stressed that young people need to be supported in the various steps of setting up projects, recalling that 80% of small projects fail after one or two years of creation due to a lack of support.

According to him, employment must be a shared responsibility between the government, civil society and the private sector within the framework of a participatory approach.

For his part, Abderazak Zouari, president of the Taysir Conseil association, indicated that the association's objective is to support entrepreneurs in terms of training, project financing and monitoring. He thanked, in passing, the various financial partners of his association in this program, including the European Union and CONECT (Confederation of Tunisian Citizen Enterprises).

This financial support will help develop the association's activities in supporting new young entrepreneurs.

Launched in May 2014, the Taysir Conseil association is a one-stop shop for financing and support. It has 4 agencies: Ibn Khaldoun region, Beni Khalled, Kef and Siliana.

The association has financed 750 projects in the sectors of small businesses, services, crafts and agriculture. It has also supported 500 entrepreneurs, mainly women and young people from rural areas.

Taysir Conseil plans to open new agencies in 2015 in Kairouan, Jendouba and Ben Arous.
