Your cover letter allows you to stand out from other candidates with a similar CV to yours and who are applying for the same position. You can include arguments that explain what makes you the ideal candidate for the job. As a CV is rather concise, the cover letter allows you to better explain why the company should hire you.
You can also use your cover letter to provide more information about your experience, your studies, yourself and why you are the best candidate for the position. Critically analyze your CV and ask yourself if everything is clear. Do you have doubts? Then, elaborate on these aspects in your cover letter.
2- Cover letter: an effective way to capture the recruiter's attention.
You can use your cover letter to try to arouse the recruiter's interest. If you manage to make the recruiter curious about you, it means you have written the perfect cover letter! Of course, don't be mysterious, but by mentioning, for example, that you have ideas that you would like to put into practice in this position, you might pique the recruiter's curiosity about what you have to offer the company.
3- Cover letter: appreciated by recruiters.
And, last but not least... Companies want you to write a cover letter! Recruiters want candidates to include a cover letter that helps them get to know them better and discover why they are right for the job. So take the time to write your cover letter, it's well worth it!
We hope we have convinced you of the usefulness of the cover letter! We wish you lots of inspiration and good luck in your job search.
