2.78 Million Dollar Japanese Donation for Jobs in Jendouba

As part of the World Bank's employment support program in the Jendouba governorate, 20 agreements concerning projects of general interest and local participation between the Ministry of Training and Employment and associations were signed on Friday, November 22, 2013.
This project, which involves a Japanese donation of 2.78 million dollars, aims to allow one unemployed member of low-income families to work within the framework of this project.
This program will be carried out in two phases. The first, which will cost 1.725 million dinars to finance 32 projects (agricultural sector, improvement of roads and primary schools in rural areas), will allow the hiring of 1200 unemployed people and will focus on the project evaluation.
As for the second phase, it will take place between February and December 2014.
