EFE Morocco joins the Rockefeller Foundation's "Digital Jobs Africa" program

EFE Morocco, an international NGO specializing in training and supporting job-seeking graduates, will conclude a partnership agreement with the prestigious Rockefeller Foundation to launch the "Digital Jobs for Moroccan Youth" program.

After Accenture and Mastercard, EFE Morocco, an international NGO specializing in training and supporting job-seeking graduates, will conclude a partnership agreement with the prestigious Rockefeller Foundation to launch the "Digital Jobs for Moroccan Youth" program. This program aims to strengthen the skills of 770 young people in the IT sector over 18 months.
"The program targets young graduates aged 20 to 30 (Bac+2 and above) from public institutions (universities, vocational training centers) with the objective of strengthening their skills and, at the same time, their employability," said Myriam Kadmiri, president of EFE Morocco.

Recruitment of young beneficiaries is done through spontaneous applications submitted on the website (efemaroc.org) and EFE Morocco's Facebook page. Candidates are selected after review of their application. Specifically, 130 young people will be trained in IT/BPO and Workplace Success with a placement rate target of almost 80%, while 640 others, from public educational institutions, will be trained in FJIJ (Finding a Job is a Job: job search techniques and conducting job interviews).

The program is expected to be multiplied by 5 by 2020

Ultimately, the program is expected to be multiplied by 5 by 2020, allowing the American foundation to roll out its "Digital Jobs Africa" project in Morocco, and EFE Morocco to increase its contribution to reducing unemployment. Recall that EFE Morocco has already conducted a similar program, entitled "Programming for the Future," focusing on the training and integration of about fifty young people in the IT field. It was carried out in collaboration with the Mastercard and Accenture foundations.
