Jobs: The Ministry of Education is recruiting 1400 teachers and 1500 professors.

The Ministry of Education announced in a press release on Saturday the opening of two external competitions based on applications for the recruitment of 1400 primary school teachers and 1500 secondary, technical and art school teachers, and mixed cycle teachers for English and computer science teachers. The ministry invites candidates for the two competitions who meet all the required conditions to register online at: www.edunet.tn

Applicants holding a Bachelor's degree (+3) or equivalent diploma and who are under 50 years old on January 1, 2012, may also apply for the primary school teacher competition, provided they are unemployed and have a certificate confirming this status, issued by the employment and independent work office, valid for no more than three months.

Candidates who are self-employed or salaried and whose job is below their qualification level may also apply, providing a work certificate and a payslip valid for three months from the application deadline.

For the professor competition, it is open to holders of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or even a Master's degree or equivalent, and who are at most 50 years old on January 1, 2012. They must be unemployed and have a certificate proving this, valid for three months.

Candidates with self-employment or salaried jobs below their qualification level may apply for the professor competition, providing a work certificate and payslip valid for three months from the application deadline.

Registration for both competitions is on the education portal from Saturday, August 4, 2012, to August 13 of the same month. Applications must be submitted to the regional education offices to which the candidates belong, according to the address on their national identity card, within a period not exceeding August 16, 2012.
